Why Spiritual Growth Matters
Spiritual growth isn’t about checking boxes or getting it all right—it’s about staying rooted when life pulls you in every direction. It’s learning to hear God’s voice in the middle of your real, everyday moments.
For me, it’s been less about grand gestures and more about consistent return: returning to scripture, to prayer, to the kind of honesty that invites transformation.
One morning in my journal, I wrote: “Lord, I want to grow—but I don’t want to force it. I want to bloom in Your timing, not mine.”
That’s the heart behind this space. It’s not about perfection. It’s about alignment—between what you believe, how you show up, and who you’re becoming.

What You’ll Find Here
This space is for seekers, questioners, and anyone trying to stay anchored in a noisy world. I don’t claim to have all the answers—but I do believe in showing up with intention, faith, and curiosity. Here’s what you’ll find as you explore:
- The Faithful Fruit Blog Series
A post-by-post journey through the Fruit of the Spirit—honest reflections, personal stories, and scriptural grounding. - Faith Practices That Ground Me
Tools and reflections on prayer, fasting (like the Daniel Fast), journaling, and aligning your rhythms with your values. - Moments of Wrestling and Revelation
Unpolished thoughts on what it means to follow Christ in everyday leadership, motherhood, and spiritual growth. - Encouragement to Keep Going
Not surface-level motivation—real reminders that growth is slow, but God is faithful.
This isn’t a “how-to” space—it’s a “walk-with” space. One step at a time, together.

A Note From Ivy
I don’t write from a place of arrival, I write from the middle. The middle of motherhood, military life, long days and quiet prayers.
I’ve learned that spiritual growth rarely shows up as lightning. More often, it’s slow. Subtle. A shift in how you respond. A deeper breath before you speak. A willingness to stay when it’s easier to run. This space is where I lay down what I’m learning, about faith, about myself, about God’s patience. It’s not curated or polished. It’s honest. And I hope it meets you right where you are.
We’re all growing. Let’s do it with grace.
